Urayasu

Urayasu (浦安市; -shi) is a city located in Chiba, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 145,239 and the density of 8,400.17 persons per km². The total area is 17.29 km².

The city was founded on April 1, 1981. It became a major tourist destination several years later, when Tokyo Disney opened.
